Writing is a Passion!  One must believe in the stories that they tell for them to be believable and I am a believer.

The Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys mysteries were some of my first reading adventures.  As a teenager, I used to hide away in my room, nose in book from start to finish. I loved the mystery, the danger, and the little bit of romance they included. Was it only me or did anyone else ever wonder why Nancy and Ned never got past first base? Now, I realize the books were meant for young adult (very appropriate), but never-the-less. . . I'd find myself saying. . . Oh, come on, people!

Writing stories and poems was so much a part of my growing up years...Paper to pen to words...Most of my earlier works are put away on the back shelf collecting dust, but they're my inspiration, a reminder that this is what I've always been destined to be. . . a writer!  I've also tried my hand at poetry, and perhaps someday, I'll post them for you.

During High School, I found my own romance...and after graduation, I got married to my sweetheart of twenty-five years. We have four lovely children, two daughters (ages 9 and 24) and two sons (ages 18 and 21). While my older children move on to the next phases of their lives, I share my home with three Chinese Pugs (Ko-Ko, Heidi & Hudson) and one Japanese Chin (Lou-Lou).

I am a member of the Romance Writers of America (RWA), the Capital Regional Romance Writers of America (CR-RWA) and the Future, Fantasy & Paranormal (FFnP) Online Romance Writers Group.

And when I'm not busy with family (baseball games, Girl Scout meetings) or writing my next book, I work full-time at a local area hospital where I'm a Staff Development Educator.

The lessons I've learned in life have enabled me to create characters who won't quit. . . who fight to be heard. . . to live.  They may believe they have lost the battle but their strength won't allow them to admit defeat. They refuse to hang the white hankie.

And neither will I!
